Travel through three centuries of crime and punishment at Nottingham's premier tourist attraction.

The Galleries of Justice is an educational charity offering a guided tour where you will witness an authentic Victorian court room and put your friends and family in the dock before being sent down to the original prison and exercise yard!

Also you can view the HM Prison Service collection, a nationally important collection of artefacts such as whipping posts and prisoner uniforms that are on display in the Galleries of Justice 1833 wing.

The Galleries of Justice in Nottingham is a macabre yet touching reminder of what prison life would have been like years ago.

Other facilities include a cafe, archive library (appointment required), and children's parties!

The Galleries of Justice is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm and bank holiday Mondays.

You will find the Galleries of Justice on High Pavement in the Lace Market area of Nottingham.
