"Why is Nottingham best for shopping in UK?"

Whether you wish to order someone a brightly coloured fragrant bouquet of flowers, you wish to buy some new clothes, accessories, music, gourmet food, or even if you need a solicitor - Nottingham has it ALL! Nottingham is famous for everything from lace, to Robin Hood, to powder coating!

The two main shopping malls in Nottingham, or shopping centres as we locally call them, are the Victoria Centre which is crisp, polished, and reasonably upmarket whilst still remaining very welcoming to all, and there is the softer more dressed-down Broadmarsh Centre that offers more of your discount type of stores.

Between the two shopping centres is the busiest area of town where you will find a big old building which we quaintly call the Council House, and you will also discover the Old Market Square which is going through a bit of a revamp right now. If you go sideways you may also find the Hockley area which is the Nottingham shopping alternative to Soho, London. There you will find more independently owned clothes stores and cafes.

You will find prices when you shop in Nottingham are comparatively good for the UK. Although Britain is generally more expensive than the USA - it is on a par with other places in the European Union. Nottingham is particularly noted for its production of lace.
