Does anyone know what the Basford area is like, or where the best areas to live in Nottingham are for a 30 something couple?

Basford is an interesting ethnic area of Nottingham, but not pretty. It depends what you want, for instance – Wollaton, West Bridgford, Beeston and Bramcote are middle class. There are a lot of “City living apartments – the best of which are in the very swish Lace Market area.
