well we live in notts (well just outside notts in newark area) and we have spent 17k on our wedding! we are having all the trimmings,
i dont know how much the registry offices will be so jst ring them, enquire you dont have to book, you can call all 3, ask capacity, cost etc thn compare. if you explain you are still in the very preliminary stages of planning and do not have a secure date in mind they will give prices for 2009/10/11 so you have all the info.

A register office wedding is the same cost however many guests there are. It is around £50, payable on the day, and the rooms usually hold a maximum of 60-80 people.
