My boyfriend and I are thinking of getting married – we’ve got three possible venues in mind but none of them advertise their fees on their websites, and since we have no idea of a date, number of guests (determining size of room), or even if we’ll definitely do it yet, I don’t want to ring them up just yet! Can you help with how much it is at:
- Rushcliffe Register Office (West Bridgford)
- Nottingham City Register Office
- Brighton and Hove Register Office (where my partner is from)
Thank you!

I can not help but a web site www.shepherdsrestpub.com has the price of wedding menu on it site.

well we live in notts (well just outside notts in newark area) and we have spent 17k on our wedding! we are having all the trimmings,
i dont know how much the registry offices will be so jst ring them, enquire you dont have to book, you can call all 3, ask capacity, cost etc thn compare. if you explain you are still in the very preliminary stages of planning and do not have a secure date in mind they will give prices for 2009/10/11 so you have all the info.
this is what i had to do when i first started planning, ring and take a shot in the dark
good luck!
A register office wedding is the same cost however many guests there are. It is around £50, payable on the day, and the rooms usually hold a maximum of 60-80 people. There is also a fee of around £60 some weeks before you get married for paperwork etc. The ceremony is a short one, lasting around half an hour.
The big cost comes from the venue where you hold the celebration afterwards, which can vary from £10 to £50,000 depending on whether it’s the local cafe or a stately home.
